One of the most important parts of our agile culture is that of Continuous Improvement or Kaizen. A constant search for better ways to maximise customer value, reduce time to market and, importantly, improve our teams’ skill.
We think the best way to improve is through teamwork, sharing our knowledge and learning from others. Kaizen events have proven to be the fastest, hands-on way to do this.
Kaizen events are events from and for the team, focused on the learning process for the individual through observation, practice and interaction with like-minded people. We discover and experiment firsthand and there are lots of different ways to do this.
This time we have used the .Tuenti Challenge 6.
It’s a contest that consists of some typical programming challenges alongside others that provide no hints and can be quite tricky. You can choose the programming language or technique you prefer for each challenge. Our main goal was to improve teamwork, share our experience and, of course, learn and grow together.
We spent almost six hours completing the first three challenges using different development tools and programming languages: Python, Javascript and Java. At the end of each challenge we shared all the solutions and compared our approaches. It was a very valuable exercise for everyone.
These events are not only internal. We’d like to thank all the people who joined us for this challenge, sharing your time and abilities!
Would you like to join the next event? All you need is to be hungry, have a desire to learn and a little free time. ARE YOU IN?

We hope to see you soon!!
Manpower is something that is beyond measurement. Capabilities can be extended indefinitely when everyone begins to think.
